Body FX
Operation Description
BodyFX is a modern, non-invasive body contouring procedure that combines radiofrequency, vacuum, and pulsed energy to reduce fat deposits, tighten the skin, and diminish the appearance of cellulite. Thanks to its deep tissue heating technology, the treatment promotes fat cell breakdown, collagen stimulation, and improved skin tone — all in a single session. The results are comparable to non-surgical liposuction, but without pain, downtime, or the need for anesthesia. BodyFX can be performed on areas such as the upper arms, abdomen, hips, and thighs.
Candidates
BodyFX is intended for individuals who:
-
have localized fat deposits (abdomen, hips, thighs, upper arms)
-
want to improve skin appearance and tone
-
have varying degrees of cellulite
-
are looking for a non-surgical alternative to liposuction
-
seek gentle yet noticeable body contouring without an invasive procedure
This treatment is not recommended for individuals with significant excess weight, during pregnancy, in cases of serious skin conditions in the treated area, or for those with a pacemaker or metal implants.
Preparation
No special preparation is required for the BodyFX treatment. However, it is advised to avoid applying creams or oils to the area to be treated, stay hydrated, and have a light meal beforehand (especially when treating larger areas).
Operation time
Using an advanced device, radiofrequency waves are delivered to the targeted body areas to break down fat cells and tighten the skin. One session typically lasts around 60 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated. Treatments are performed once a week.
Recovery
The procedure is non-invasive and requires no recovery time, allowing patients to immediately return to their daily activities.
Mild redness or a sensation of warmth may occur in the treated area shortly after the procedure, but these effects usually subside within a few hours.
Safety precautions
After treatment, it is recommended to avoid exposing the treated area to heat sources such as saunas or tanning beds for 24–48 hours. Additionally, increasing water intake helps speed up the elimination of broken-down fat.
In the following days, aggressive exfoliating products or treatments should be avoided on the same area.
Prior to the session, it's important to inform the physician of any existing medical conditions or implants, to ensure complete safety and optimal results.
