Dr. Milan Colić, specialist in general surgery, was born in 1961 in Kraljevo, Serbia.
He graduated from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in 1987 and began his residency in general surgery at the Emergency Center of the Clinical Center of Serbia, where he gained extensive experience in complex surgical procedures.
In 1989, together with his brother Dr. Miodrag Colić, he co-founded one of the first private medical institutions in Serbia, which later evolved into a renowned Special Hospital for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. He earned the title of Primarius (Senior Consultant) in 2003.
Throughout his career, Dr. Colić has completed advanced training in leading surgical centers across the globe — from Italy and France to Spain, Sweden, Brazil, Mexico, Japan, and the United States. His collaboration with experts such as Prof. Jean Yves Petit and Prof. Per Heden helped shape his refined approach, combining precision, minimally invasive techniques, and natural aesthetic outcomes.
In the 1990s, as part of the international NGO NPA, he served as a surgeon and head of the medical team during a peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.
Outside the operating room, he is also known as a travel journalist and television host. His series "From All Meridians" aired on Studio B and took viewers to some of the most remote parts of the world. He was also the creator of "NTV Doctor", the first live medical television program in Serbia, which supported patients and promoted science and public health.
Dr. Colić is a member of the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO) and the founding president of the National Association for the Treatment of Obesity in Serbia. His professional work has been published in international journals, including The Journal of Metabolic Surgery and Allied Care.
He is the recipient of numerous national and international awards. Alongside his brother, he co-founded the Dr Colić Beauty Therapy skincare brand, which has been present on the Serbian market since 2010 and expanded to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro in 2011.
Dr. Colić lives in Belgrade with his wife Maja, son Marko, and daughter Mila.
Fluent in English and Spanish, he is an avid hunter, fisherman, sailor, and skier.
